How is something like this accepted as normal?

The secret in making burritos is making 2 at a time. Then when you finish the first one you still have a second one to eat later!

I was 40 when I realized Frank Lloyd Wright and Andrew Lloyd Webber were 2 different people.

The world suddenly made WAY more sense.

I created a label specialized in , and we just released our first album:

The revenue will go to 2 sloth conservation societies in Costa Rica.

I wanted to name my daughter "Alexandria Noel", but then people would call her "Aexandria"

It's crazy that my garbage collection company doesn't let me reuse any of my last THREE passwords.

I can't imagine building a system that stores the last 3 passwords of all users just to prevent them from reusing them... seems like a lot of effort just to make the user's life harder.

And at the end of the day, it's just garbage. I would understand this for a bank or crypto wallet.

The web started going downhill when someone decided that hiding the scrollbar was a good idea.

How to decode the Voyager 1 signal -

An interesting article focusing on using python and GNU Radio to decode a recording in which Voyager 1 transmissions are included. A great look into modulation techniques and data transmission protocols. It still amazes me that we can receive data from the Voyagers after travelling so far. This is why I ended up studying electronic communications.

Also: if they lived for generations underground, without ever seeing the surface. How would they perceive the world? Would they ask "what happens if we keep digging up?", and what would they expect the answer to be. Or down?

It's interesting to think about the development of philosophy/science/mythos of an underground society.

I've been thinking about D&D dwarves lately. If they evolved underground, without seasons and constellations, would they ever develop math (other than basic arithmetic)?

Also, why do they traditionally yield axes, if there are no trees underground?

Tech enthusiast: "I want smart lights, smart tv, everything, and connect them all to my digital assisstant!"

Tech worker: *looks wistfully into distance* "I should get a small place in a little town, with a garden, make my own furniture."
